Vineyard location and soil: Vineyard located in Serralunga d’Alba.
Helvetian soil, rich in very compact blue marl and clay with a sandy vein.
Tasting notes: Deep garnet and ruby red, with violet reflections. Rich aromas of fruit, especially plum and cherry, with notes of violet, cinnamon, cocoa and leather. On the palate, it is embracing, dense, rich in soft tannins but well-structured.
Vinification: Grapes are destemmed and pressed. Maceration lasts about 20 days at a maximum temperature of 30 °C (86 °F).
Aging lasts 20 months in new barrique and 10 months in bottle.
Alcohol content: 14% alcohol by vol.
